Get answers from millions of real people.?
VIMAX ADS! Why the @#$@$ can we not get a straight answer on this #$%# ???? There is clearly something running on my system that replaces the banner ads on websites with these ads. It IS NOT a widespread ad campaign, but a virus designed to make it look like there is one. I go to the same websites at work (BBC, New York Times, Salon.com) and they're not pockmarked with these ads. And it also blocks the viewing of videos on IMDB - when I go to view a trailer, I just see a vimax ad. Yet when I google search for a way to get rid of whatever is causing it, I can't find any useful information. How is VIMAX getting its ads all over my browser? What is running that I can eliminate once and for all? Typically when I've had any type of browser hijacking, a simple google search points me too a quick useful solution, but now I can find nothing useful. Help Please!
