My camelia has wilted and looks dead can I save it?

i have a Camellia in a large pot and it was growing beautifully. its about 5ft tall, In the last couple of weeks the leaves have suddenly wilted and it looks as though the plant is dying. I have just re-potted it in a slightly larger pot and added some fresh compost but cannot see any visible signs of bugs apart from a couple of slugs under the pot. Can I rescue it?
