Russian Revolution ysis?

The man on the left is a "worker," the one on the right a peasant. The worker holds not a hammer but a maul. The peasant holds a scythe. The words over the top are "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics." October 1917 was the date of the Bolshevik coup (Julian calendar, old style). The worker has a rifle shouldered. The worker steps on a shield and sword, perhaps representing the old feudal order. There are chains to the lower right--liberation. Happy workers and peasants are advancing out of the picture with a rising, shining sun in the background and smoking factories (industrial prosperity). The phrase at the bottom is "Dictatorship of the Preletariat."
