Is this a good trade? Desktop for Laptop?

First check your needs. If you dont need 500GB, then go for it. However, if you like to play games on your desktop, then be warned. You cannot play games on a laptop without attaching a mini mouse, or it will be inconvenient to use the touch pad. The mini mouse needs getting used to. And do you really need a laptop? Do you travel often? Or do you always need the computer with you? If you relly need one, you'll make a gain while your brother will have a loss.
