Hewlett Packard 6545C?

I have a Hewlett Packard 6545C with the serial number D9939A that is a tower. I’m going to replace the CPU with a Intel Pentium III Processor 1000 MHz, 133MHz FSB, Socket 370 256KB Cache Model Number: SL52R. My concern is that this CPU wont fit because of the blue part that is in the middle of the CPU. So would this blue part get in the way of closing the plastic cover that holds the CPU in place and the fan?
